  1. Keep chatting. In netball communication is definitely important. You must consistently work with the players around you and communicate with them so that you are all on the same page. Netball is definitely a team game and therefore you must work as a team and communicate as a team.
  2. Practice makes perfect. Netball can be a difficult game to get great at, however the more you try, the better you will get. You need to practice all aspects of netball including set play with your team as much as you can. Not only do you need to practice the things that you want to do, but you have to be prepared for in case anything goes wrong whilst you are in the game.
  3. Fuel your body. If you want to be the best you can, you need to fuel your body as good as possible. Educate yourself about what you need to eat to be able to perform well at a high intensity and even take time to see a nutritionist if you feel like you need specialist guidance and advice.
  4. Netball tours. Take time out with your team to go on a netball tour. This can provide people with a great opportunity to see how other countries play and to have fun and bond as a team. Netball tours can be great for people who want to improve their skills, but if you would like to go on one with your team/friends you need to ensure that you book in advance as they are super popular.
